My poor STX is in free fall today, down over 7%. No one on the Conversations thread knows why. Looks like a great day to buy it everyone! 2.9% dividend.
What Did You Buy Today?

Hold PFE for 25 years and you'll be fine. Seriously though don't be afraid to swing trade this turkey. I do think they are making some good decisions lately so who knows?
BTI is starting to annoy me so that's probably a buy signal lol. I might add a little more. I have owned PFE since 1996ish so I am gradually looking for the exit. I've been patient lol [/quote] I think the story has changed on PFE. Not like it was 6 months ago. It finally has growth and they just went on the acquisition hunt and purchased Trillium, which is a cancer drug company in the early stages. So I like what the company is doing. I can see $55-$60 easily. And best of all the young investors are loving it When you sell a stock it usually goes up so go ahead and sell PFE NEE has done well since you sold (05-11-2021, 09:12 AM)divmenow Wrote:RQI and ARCC are two of them. WEC ran better. (lately) There is a ton of PFE in my wife's IRA still. I got in way deep when I thought they might find the first vaccine. PFE has solid revenues locked for 18 months or more. We'll see what they do with the money. Drug research has changed for sure.

It was the very first stock I purchased. I will never sell and will one days be divided up to my kids lol

Thank you. What are your price targets for these two? Also, I assume RQI dividends are mostly not qualified given the REIT investments?

NEE has been nuts for a long time. It's going to have to pay back that PE but I think you are good at $3.46 lol. I sure hope you are as my port is 95% overvalued if NEE every goes there. I'll get back into NEE but I have faster green UTE growers more reasonably valued for now.

I took my own advice and bought Seagate on the dip. I was planning to buy more anyway, in addition to Cisco.
Where is Mr Fortune? PENN up about 15% since I added last week. What was that you were saying about too much debt? It's cute how you think the market cares about fundamentals right now. I'll probably wait for football season before trimming. That was my only thesis. What a casino we are playing in right now.

Added a little on V, AMGN, BTI & AMAT. None of them are screaming buys but just continue to build up these positions.
