Answering my own question from last week on SOFI. Magic words in the SPAC deal and apparently insiders can dump big lots of shares until today or tomorrow expiration. Perhaps they are already done? I like the company, but almost every one of these SPACs I research have creative and lucrative deals in them for company management.
Looks like China has extended the sale on their big tech shell company fake shares. Last chance to get them before they dump another 10% next month. My port is not missing the BABA share stress at all.

It is -44.44% year to date. I think he likes the 5.56% yield, but it's eroding. Not long enough track history to make any further judgments.
If I am not mistaken, they are the largest mortgage broker in the nation, ahead of Rocket. I realize the word mortgage is not the most enticing word right now, but at some point the stock will be a value. I am just trying to figure out where this point is :-)
I'd like to know where you are getting your information. This isn't my area, but UWM Holdings has a market cap of 12 billion. Wells Fargo, on the other hand, has a market cap of 200 billion. This is from 2019 https://www.statista.com/statistics/9386...value-usa/
Good catch - thanks for checking me! They are the second largest wholesale lender according to these articles:
https://www.mpamag.com/us/news/general/1...021/255109
https://www.bankrate.com/mortgages/top-m...s-of-2020/
They also say they will be the largest mortgage lender by 2024 (YMMV on whether you believe that claim): https://www.detroitnews.com/story/busine...644819002/

I haven't researched it. Hadn't heard of it until you and Otter were discussing it last week. I am trying to not add too many more new names. We'll see how long that lasts.
What I need is for tech to get hammered for real again, but this market is resilient.
Very small trades this morning. Added a few shares to DG-ARKF Sold a few SLV puts.

Oh interesting. Also, there's "largest company that lends mortgages" and "company that dealt with the highest dollar value of mortgage lending" which are different here.

Genester, you've sparked my interest in the sector. FINTECH disrupters in general actually as they were very expensive but that seems to be less the case now for the true disruptors. I did a little reading last night. Found some intelligent chatter on REDDIT believe it or not. They seem to have a different business model than Rocket. Working on thinner margins and gaining significant market share for their efforts. Might be worth some real research.

I have 40 positions in my Taxable account. Hopefully the day gets better, but 36 are in the red. Wow! Bad day. The 4 in the green are CURE, ORCL, LLY, and ABBV.

I am trying hard to concentrate my holdings into fewer positions but if your positions are well researched you can just wait through it and not stress where you will be by year end. We are long overdue for the indexes to have a rough month. Russell 2000 is about the only thing at fair value right now. My port is too defensive so I am not down 1% off the ATHs. I don't see any reasons for a big correction soon so I would be happy with a small one so I can re-arrange things a bit.

Yes bought some under $183. This is good news and I think there taking market share away from Home Depot. I think it being down $10 day before earnings is a buying opportunity. I”m looking for a good earnings report and proof they are stealing market share away from HD. We shall see

Glad I could be of assistance UWMC is in a very cutthroat business, but they seem to be committed to winning. The stock price has also been declining quite a bit - in part because there's was no room to go up given the current climate... but at some point, they will be oversold - the question is, when

I see enough HD regional sales data that it borderline constitutes insider info so I finally shut up on anything specific on the internet. Quarterly reports are never much of a surprise to me anymore. I so wanted to sell an HD bear spread but that is insider trading too.
Now that it is out, HD sales growth is mostly just inflation and the market should know it. New price stickers most every month in most departments. We all got permanent Covid raises and now they man the store skeleton crew even worse than before to try to get some of it it back. Great company, great supply chain. HD and Lowes will be fine. They will mostly mirror each other. It likely gets harder the next few quarters. Competition for wages is going to be a problem. One of the better retailers and it used to take a month or more to get hired. Current standard is pass your drug test and can you start this weekend? Not unique to HD.

When I saw Home Depot, Sherwin Williams, and Lowes all down today, I immediately looked at what NAIL is doing today: down 9.84% yikes. I don't have any anymore, but if I did, my rule would have been it crosses the $90 barrier sell immediately

I do like HD as a position in my portfolio, but I dropped Lowe's sometime back (I think I moved the proceeds into SCHD). In general, I won't be keeping positions that can't at least keep up with SCHD.

$5k arrived today from selling company stock. It is SO much fun to sprinkle the proceeds around. Feels like I'm watering the plants But started a new position in Capital One Financial, which I hadn't realized is doing so well this year. As usual, I'm late to the party.
