What Did You Buy Today?
Sold TDOC and bought a few GOOG right before the close. Good thing I did that. TDOC horrible earnings lol

TDOC Reports Q2 (Jun) loss of $0.86 per share, excluding non-recurring items, $0.32 worse than the S&P Capital IQ Consensus of ($0.54);

Anyone still own it?
Sold 49P Aug 20 in XLE for 1.58

I also took a new position in PXD thanks to the secondary at $153

I needed to add another name in the sector to go along with CVX and EOG

now the only other sector I'm underweight in is leisure  Big Grin
Dude I am a charter member of ENPH.  I made a few hundred a month the past year selling short puts while it ran.  I have a few short puts that are WAY in the money after this bloodbath.  I can only roll forward so much before I own $140 shares.   Big Grin  I said here many times I was good with adding a real position starting at $125.  If I am honest I need ENPH to head back to $120ish to be back to even.  I wasn;t aggressive enough when it was truly cheap.  I'll add shares to my growthy port in the meantime.

Yeah yeah. What ever floats your boat  Big Grin lol
I am very good with owning ENPH long-term.  How happy I am in the end very much depends on the entry.  We'll see where the bottom is soon enough.

Well me too. Got in at $108.90  Big Grin

This will be a big winner for years to come.  You have to add at some point, so why not today. I don't worry about making a few $ here and there  Big Grin . I'm in to win it lol

Are we having fun today  Big Grin

There are a few here that are/were accumulating.  They sound like a viable disrupter but the valuation was just insane before I ever heard of them.  I have a friend that got a 3 bagger out of their merger partner last year. One of those don't be late things I guess.

And Mike, I like your XLE strike much better than mine.   Big Grin
I have never traded XLE before but it has some pretty fat premium.

We'll see.

Worked for me for quite awhile but I am giving some back now.  On paper anyway.  I'll roll my way out while I wait for the majors to go up a few bucks.  Ties up capital for a month or more with only tiny new premiums but I never use all my cash anyway so not a tragedy unless oil truly dips and stays there.  Same with gold.
Generac GNRC getting crushed today after earnings. Great company but I knew that double came way too fast vs business reality. Glad I sold 2/3rds of my shares the last week or so. I'll be back when the dust settles. Needs to drop another 50 but it probably won't.
Added some GNRC just under $386. I'm in it for the long term. I'm not trading it, owning it so I like the dips.

Great future.  I like the dips too and bought them.  I researched it and started building a position slowly in 2019.  Under 200 for the first shares.  I too wish to hold it long-term but I was pretty sure the run was way out of hand.  They are more than generators now.  I'll probably have to wait for the entire market to correct to make it a core position.  I'll have to listen to the conference call but my estimation was GNCR is worth about $300.  Doubt it will ever go there again.

EDIT: Just to be clear I still own some GNRC. I just trimmed at 440+ and cleared my options. I hope that was a great buy for you.

Great buy. It will probably go right to $500 now lol. The buyers came in swooped up those shares fast. Already back to $428 Wink

The philosophy is, if you want a name wait for it to dip after earnings to get in. These stocks have all had big runs and the earnings report no matter how good is most likely going to knock it down. Just like MSFT last night. Was down $10 and now it’s up lol

Great buy.  MOMO boys have a firm grip on GNRC.  I thought they might wait for the next hurricane but I guess not lol.  They really did have the earnings growth to support the sky high PE.  I think they need to get into power storage fast to keep it justified.  They just might.  I need to look into the facts before I add any GNRC back.  Should be in the CC.
VSTO going to make me smile again today. Backtrack the original Wall Street estimate to .51. VSTO guided it up to .90 then just posted 1.71, raised guidance again and buying back shares.
I just want to say that I gave up on Eli Lilly way too soon. I hadn't checked on it in a while, and wow since the beginning of June it's had quite a run. My bad.
