Sure people hate the company and bash it. But that's a Solid increase and just 1.6 pp under the target payout ratio of 80% based on minimum guidance of $4.59

Yeah, (ethics aside), MO is just a beast. It is still 10 percent of my DG portfolio by value, and accounts for a bit more than 20 percent of my dividend stream. I'm a little less sanguine than many about the quality of earnings and the payout ratio, so I'm kind of keeping a closer eye on it than I used to, but still confident in it overall.
