PEORIA, Ill., June 10, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Board of Directors of Caterpillar Inc. (CAT) voted today to increase the quarterly cash dividend by 10 percent to seventy-seven cents ($0.77) per share of common stock, payable August 20, 2015, to stockholders of record at the close of business on July 20, 2015.

In anticipation of acquisition date of Integrys Energy (NYSE:TEG) by Wisconsin Energy (NYSE:WEC) prior to next dividend record date, Wisconsin Energy declares pro-rata dividend of $0.00459/share per day from 15 May till the effective date of acquisition.

The record date shall be the day preceeding the effective date of acquisition.

The newly formed company WEC Energy declares pro-rata dividend of $0.00497/share per day from the date of acquisition till 14 Aug.

The company increased its quarterly dividend by 8.3% to $0.4525/share, payable on Sep 1 to shareholders on record of Aug 14.

This one is a few days old, but a nice one from MDT.

The board of directors of Medtronic plc (MDT) today approved a 25 percent increase in its cash dividend for fiscal year 2016, raising the quarterly amount to $0.38 per ordinary share for an annual amount of $1.52 per ordinary share. Today`s announcement marks the 38th consecutive year of an increase in the dividend payment for Medtronic, a constituent of the S&P 500 Dividend Aristocrats index. Including today`s increase, Medtronic`s dividend per share has more than tripled over the past 8 years and has grown at an 18 percent compounded annual growth rate over the past 38 years.
