I love how there are still stocks that push out inflation beating (for now...) dividend raises.
My strategy has always been based on dividend growth > inflation over the long-term. I certainly don't expect to get that this year but as long as the long-term trend is in my favor then it's all good.

Hercules Capital raised the dividend another 2 cents. The $.50 you see below actually breaks down to $.35 as the new baseline, plus a $.15 "bonus" that they've had all year. That's why you see the annual dividend as $1.40, and not $2.00.

(NYSE: ITW) authorized a seven percent increase to the dividend payout to shareholders, representing a quarterly increase of $0.09 per share – or $0.36 per share annually – versus the current dividend rate. Not to pedantic but it's actually a 9.7% increase. I wouldn't have said anything if it were listed as 10% though IMO that would have been sloppy on their part. But if they're gonna announce to a tenth of a percent they should get it right.
