DLTR anyone?

Nothing wrong with it right here. 90' is better but we won't get our wish unless the market gets hit for real.
I've sold puts on every dip for a year that expire worthless but long here isn't such a bad idea. A helluva lot safer than half my port if things get bad.

Thank you. What are your price targets for these two? Also, I assume RQI dividends are mostly not qualified given the REIT investments?

Buy or sell targets? I am out again. Just income plays and when I get three years of income in a year I say thanks and sit on the bench and wait. I'll be back when all hell breaks loose. Until then I have better things to do. I'm not tracking it waiting for a 50 cent dip. Not even on my near-term radar right now.

TD had a good report IMO. Market thought otherwise. I added 15 more at $66.15. Almost 4% yield and hopefully dividend raises will resume soon.

Yeah nothing wrong with the report. I think this is more about the general downward trend today.
CM was the same, decent report but down 2% now.
These are also expensive (what isn't these days) but probably good investments long-term at these prices also.

What are your buy targets for ARCC and RQI, when the market corrects, to get back in? (stocks, not options).

RQI-$12 ARCC-$16 I have purchased both well under those prices more than once. If they got within $1 of those targets I'd update my research. You have to keep in mind some of my port harvests yields selling puts on very conservative stocks. For years I have 6%+ annual income from boring stuff like HRL-JNJ-KO and I am confident as one can be they won't drop half as far if the big market crash comes. Point being you can pay more for RQI and ARCC and it might work out fine. Just don't fool yourself into thinking they don't get hit very hard on a market dip. They are quality though and you can just close your eyes and ride it out if you wish. (and you probably should if you get caught in a dip). I haven't had to yet but that truly is why they make the cut for me. I hope that was at least a little bit helpful.

Super helpful, as always. My personal ARCC target is $16.37, so great to know we are in the same ballpark.

I haven't researched it. Hadn't heard of it until you and Otter were discussing it last week. I am trying to not add too many more new names. We'll see how long that lasts.
What I need is for tech to get hammered for real again, but this market is resilient.
Very small trades this morning. Added a few shares to DG-ARKF Sold a few SLV puts.

ARCC's 5 year chart looks very similar to HTGC's; both are up 22% in that time. Knowing it will probably continue to trend upwards over time makes it easier to jump in and not wait for an exaggerated dip. If you are patient you might see 18.50 again, but I'm crossing my fingers you don't see ARCC in the 16s again.
For what it's worth, all of my purchases were in the 19s.

ARCC has been available for purchase at about $16 or less during 13 of the 16 years the fund has existed. Not sure that qualifies as an out of the ordinary exaggerated dip. I didn't pull that price target out of the air.
I'll be quiet on ARCC now.

Added to AMZN (a lot), AZO, ADBE, BRK.b, and GOOGL. A lot of non-dividend payers there.
