You know this market is nuts when a company like CROX goes up $12. I wouldn't be caught dead wearing those things lol
Funny thing is, when I go to the outlets they have lines out the door. I remember in the past this stock would sit at $9- $12 forever. Now its at $97 and still not expensive at a 21 PE.
I guess most people are wearing them during the pandemic and just wear around the house. And if any of you wear Crocs I apologize haha!!
I wonder if UA is a turnaround story? I use to own well into the $40's. Sold a long time ago, but I do wear the brand all the time. I will have to do some research and will maybe take a position.

UA is a constant turn around story. It's like cyclical Nike lol. They have a a good sized section in some of the big box stores. I'm not sure anyone ever bought shares at a fair price and didn't do more than OK in a month or a year. I actually intended to update my research on them this weekend and got busy.
As far as fashion trends, I am STILL waiting for high top Nikes to come back in style. White of course lol. That was the first time I could justify spending some coin on sneakers. Life was good.
Seriously though if you are over 40 your fashion opinions are irrelevant. When it comes to clothes and makeup ask your kids or somebody else's kids. They will get you in MUCH earlier. Peter Lynch warned me 30 years ago. I took some young guests to the MN cabins last year. They were Crockin' and loving it. My opinion doesn't matter. My wife and daughter were buying Elf and Ulta in time for me to score 5x and i wasn't paying attention.

TECL is Direxion's competitor ETF to TQQQ.
Go to https://etfdb.com/compare/highest-5-year-returns/ which keeps an up to date list of the top ETFs of the last 5 years.
Current rankings:
1. SOXL
2. TECL
3. TQQQ
4. USD (a competitor to SOXL)
5. ROM
6. ARKW
7. QLD
8. ARKK
9. ARKG
10. SOXX
TECL's top 10 holdings are:
Apple 21.52
Microsoft 19.85
Visa Incorporation 4.01
Nvidia 3.69
Mastercard 3.48
Paypal 3.17
Intel 2.90
Adobe 2.54
Cisco 2.44
Salesforce.com 2.17
As of today, it is my largest holding outside of company stock. (Um, no idea if my company is in TECL at some smaller percentage or not.)

TSLA net income after regulatory credits about $400M. Employee stock based compensation $300M. Market CAP about equal to all other major automakers combined. Seems legit.

I am going to try to drop my next ENPH put sale this morning. We'll see it it stays down more than 2 minutes so I can react. Not sure if 135s will pay good enough or not.

Nasdaq futures are negative, after all the good tech news so far. Maybe, just maybe, I don't have a clue what the market's doing.

You've been investing long enough to know what 'buy the rumor sell the news" means. Traders buy shares or calls on a stock they expect to have great earnings, then sell the news. If they get nervous sometimes it will even dip right before the announcement, then on to the next stock. I've seen AMZN run 100pts hours before earnings, then give back most or all of it on a great report.
