I don't trust Cathie Woods at all. She just buys at the highs and has been taken a beating in the last 2 months. Just about every investment she has made is under water. And under water big. And the stocks she has been selling are the ones going up   She's the biggest hype since beanie babies came out and we all know what happened to that craze 

I choose to stay away from anything she touches. At some point people will get burned.

Now that's just my take but I have been following every buy and sell she made since Jan . And I don't trust her. All those cult followers think she's God lol. I'm actually tired of hearing about her LOL. 

Her Coin purchase that now trade at over a billion dollar market cap haha!! Sorry but I can't get behind a purchase like that. Meanwhile all those kids will now buy it because she did; will get burned. And lets not even get started on her TSLA $5,000 a share prediction..... But we shall see

Cathie and I are breaking up.  We've only been going out for a few months but she has changed.

I hear you and tend to agree. She definitely has a cult following lol 

And she put out her buys and sells to the public for all to see. I find that a bit disturbing. This way she can be the talk of the town and have every follower buy the stocks she's recommending or buying. That's what's wring with today's market. And I follow her on Twitter just for fun. And your right she is down a lot on purchases over the last few months. But no one talks about that   The market is getting a bit dangerous with all these hype and momo plays. Sooner a later its going to end. I have actually been thinking about trimming a lot of my holdings of late. Greedy has cost me before lol

She grabbed some names and got it right bigtime for about five years.  Yes it was TSLA infused.  Lately she is defending falling positions because she has influence and enough money to turn a stock sometimes.  That isn't the five year investing strategy she preaches.  I don't own a lot of ARKF or G but they are on probation.  I wasn't touching her true high flyer ports. Too late for that IMO.

Came across Grantham's interview from 2018 where he was worri d about market hitting new highs in 2018 3 times in a row within a week. That's like pretty much every week now.

Wow that's a real gamble since the stock has run from .38 to $58 

Blockchain to me is something that may work short term, but I really worry about it long term and once the shorts get a hold of it. 

There's many companies in this space and is very competitive. The big guys like PYPL, V, MA ect will crush these little guys. Good luck. This sector to me is just too complicated to understand for me lol

Did you get stopped out? That $39 happened quickly 

I sold some names today. Now at 40% stocks and 60% cash. Like others have said. This is not the time to be greedy. Cash will soon be king. This time that saying will be right lol

I wont get into reasons why but this market is due for a big correction. That minimum wage raising is going to have a big affect on business and the economy at some point. And Biden will fail at some point. And no I'm not going to get into a political battle   I will just say we are in for some pain. And I will wait it out and be patient going forward. Almost every S@P stock is way ahead of itself.  Be patient and there will be better buys in the future.

You can find that in any extended bull market.  You can read it right here too.    Same when we are trending lower.  There isn't even any real chop going on.  We may or may not be past the part where you can just buy anything.  The sector rotation thing will probably play out for months as nobody thinks the economy will do less than pretty good.  

I'd be interested in an emerging market ETF but I am uninformed.

Rolled a bunch of calls forward today.  Mostly UTEs and thankfully just a small part of each position.  That is nowhere near as easy as more volatile stocks with good extrinsic value in the premium.  Hard to roll much higher as I won't sell options much past 60 days.  I don't like to exceed 45 days but it's getting too time consuming.  The day comes when sellng calls works better.  It's just a PITA for now.      

Going to sell a few more puts in the more volatile stuff today.  Most of the others are expiring tomorrow.  Trying to drop trades in PLTR and VSTO for sure.  Swings with the gun stocks even though they don't sell much anything in danger of being outlawed by EO.  They sell no guns at all anymore.  My family target shoots for entertainment but the stock is a pure politics play that keeps working quarter after quarter.  I can count on the ammo hoarders will make sure they keep destroying earnings for the foreseeable future.  At least I fully understand the market and that is why it is part of my spec game.
