What Did You Buy Today?
Initiated a placeholder position in $ITW today

I added to NEE today on the pullback. Like you Eric I really like this name. Have owned it for a while. I also bought some BAX and ETN.
1/2 full position on $PFE now. Not a whole lot of valuable stuff yielding 3.5%+ out there.

On a bit of a different note I think $OHI has bottomed, or is close to bottoming. I don't jump in and out of my dividend paying positions as I count my chickens via expected dividends rather than capital appreciation / depreciation but I have placed a bet that $OHI won't be in the 9%+ yield camp for much longer. I bought the January 2020 27 calls for 1.85 today with $OHI at $26.9. This is a technical analysis induced position rather than any sort of fundamental one.

I think a weekly close under $24 invalidates my idea. I hope to close this in the high 30s or low 40s in 2 years time.

I can't see the images that you've attached.

I tend to agree with you about OHI, though I'm far from being certain. The current situation seems to have calmed down but we all know that OHI has other tenants that are barely breaking even... and I have to be honest that I'm not too fond of their "need" to raise the dividend each quarter. It's nice to do it when the times are good but some discipline could be useful when things look a bit more grim... the thing is, if it's required at some point. will the management have the cojones to stop raising the dividend or will they keep up the streak until it's too late?

That being said, I'm probably grabbing a tiny bit more of OHI in the coming weeks. The yield, as long as it's sustainable, is too good to pass up.
Sorry about the images, I can see them. I tried imgur first but that place has turned into a dumpster fire. What are people using these days for image hosting / posting?

I used to use imgur but havent in a while...is it that bad now? I can see the images above
Any opinion on WFC? I wish I would have bought more at its lows last year. I want to add more but not sure I want to chase here. But then again I could see it going to $70.

Bad news after bad news from this company all year and it's at all time highs? Doesn't seem bearish to me. How do its metrics ( including current yield ) stack up against your other options for purchase? If you're on a dividend forum then I assume you're interested in receiving dividends. Not longing for where price has been and guessing as to where price might go.

I already own the name. Just want a bit more shares. I also like banks for 2018. I have WFC, JPM, BAC, PNC, V, MA and TRV

And I agree if its at new highs with all the bad news. Imagine where it can go when its firing on all cylinders.
I bought STAG and added to ABT and D today. Stag was mentioned on here about a month ago. Now I get it for $4 cheaper and the monthly yield at over 5%. Company is in the right space and has such customers as FDX, UPS and XPO. You guys should look at this name and add here.
I bought SO yesterday.
Hey Eric you adding to AWK or NEE? I know you bought these name a bit higher a few weeks back. I'm going to buy some AWK today.
