Join the ENPH club lolDude I am a charter member of ENPH. I made a few hundred a month the past year selling short puts while it ran. I have a few short puts that are WAY in the money after this bloodbath. I can only roll forward so much before I own $140 shares. I said here many times I was good with adding a real position starting at $125. If I am honest I need ENPH to head back to $120ish to be back to even. I wasn;t aggressive enough when it was truly cheap. I'll add shares to my growthy port in the meantime.
I also took a new position in PXD thanks to the secondary at $153
I needed to add another name in the sector to go along with CVX and EOG
now the only other sector I'm underweight in is leisure
Yeah yeah. What ever floats your boat lol
Well me too. Got in at $108.90
This will be a big winner for years to come. You have to add at some point, so why not today. I don't worry about making a few $ here and there . I'm in to win it lol
Are we having fun today

It's amazing how much effort I put into 10% of my port but I enjoy it, and the chatter here. You have to pay attention to the media if you swing trade as they will cause the stocks to move up or down an extra 3-5% for a day or two. It doesn't last but I just try to take advantage of it trading spec stuff. Same with Trump's tweets. I learned to profit off of those random outbursts.(07-08-2021, 12:47 PM)Otter Wrote: Supposedly the market is down today because yields are dropping and there may not be enough inflation.
I’m old enough to remember two months ago, when the market supposedly went down because yields were too high and there was too much inflation.
Maybe the market is just a chaotic system that goes up and down (but mostly up). It’s okay for the market to take a breather after a solid month of gains. I think I may go enjoy a beer on my deck. Maybe the SA headline writers should do the same.
Yeah, I've noticed a definite pattern this year.
2 weeks of up
4 weeks of chaos, where I end up mostly flat
2 weeks of up
rinse ... repeat.
I don't mind making my money in this every-other-month fashion.
After a huge amount of moves in Q2, I don't anticipate doing anything with my portfolio other than take the dividends out monthly for the budget, possibly until next year. So I'll just sit and chat with you all.
