Dividend Announcement Thread!
GE is one of (If not the) oldest stocks that I own, have had it since '95.
I read a lot of articles about the poor performance. It may not be the best but with a cost basis of 8.25 I'm quite happy with the performance, sure it could have done better but it is one of the ones I have slept well on.

AAPL is another that I have owned since 99? Cost is 3.24, I hear people complain about the yield of 1.5% and I have to laugh.

Well good weekend to everyone.

Thanks for that update, R2R. They were pretty cheapskate with the last raise and was considering moving on since the rest of the RR stocks have had double digit increases lately.
=====

“While the dividend itself is merely a rearrangement of equity, over time it's more like owning an apple tree. The tree grows the apples back again and again and again, and the theoretical value of the tree doesn't change just because of when the apples are about to fall.” - earthtodan

With most RRs down, I am tempted to initiate a position in UNP. Love the long term prospects of UNP. NSC also took a big hit yesterday.

Ok, I made a few tweaks to the spreadsheet to include both the sequential and annual increase numbers.

I think I am all caught up now.

Enjoy.
