Wow, that's great news. I'm a shareholder Big Grin

Crap, gotta put them back on my review list again. I'm booked solid this weekend too. Dodgy

This bumps my YOC up to 4.85%. Not too shabby for a 14 month hold!

Added. I'm an owner of BAX as well. Wish it was a bit higher, but still have a hard time complaining about a 6% raise. Guessing they are being cautious before the upcoming split.

That would be my bet. Actually, I would take 6% raises forever if it was like clockwork. 50% above my long-term inflation expectations.

Big raise from PEPSI!

From .5675 per share to .655 per share. It is a 15 percent raise quarter over quarter, and a better than 10 percent raise year over year. Much better then we've seen in a long while from PEP.

Here's the press release.

This will raise the payout ratio to about 55 percent, by my math -- higher than it's been in years -- unless they are looking at better earnings than they are letting on.

In any case, a VERY solid raise. I wish I had some shares.

Wow, that's huge. I guess they weren't kidding about their commitment to the dividend!

Wow, that is awesome. I think this is their 4th increase since the spin-off in 2012. I may have to look at adding to my position.

Their first dividend was 7/19/2012 and .20. 4 increases later it's .50 for a 150% increase in roughly 2 years.

Telus (TU +0.7%) has used its Q1 report to announce it's hiking its quarterly dividend by C$0.02/share to C$0.38/share ($0.342/share). The dividend implies a forward yield of 3.7%.

Over the last year, they've already had 2 dividend hikes at about a 12.5% rate (Canadian $). Currency fluctuations have masked that in the US.

Clorox Increases Quarterly Dividend 4 Percent to 74 Cents per Share.

I'm disappointed with this one, but not surprised. The payout ratio has been inching up and growth has stalled. I'm going to have to think long and hard about this one. There's little factor of safety with a 20 PE and no growth, I may look to my watch list for a replacement this week.
