Put a Sharebuilder order in for AAPL that will go through tomorrow for my son's Education Savings Account.
He will then have GILD, KMI, CVX and AAPL for college fund investments.

I'm only doing $50 per month so we aren't talking about gobs of money, but with Sharebuilder I can buy a new investment of $200 every 4 months and it only costs $3.95 per transaction and allows me to buy partial shares. I just put a scheduled investment for $200 and it will purchase shares on Tuesday. I didn't have any savings to speak of when I went into college and with 4 kids my parents weren't able to help a whole lot. I'm hoping by starting from my kids birth and doing just the $50 per month, which is fairly painless if I just get it set up to come out every month, they can have $25k-$35k in funds to help them get a chunk paid for.

Guess I was a day early on the AAPL buy, down under $113 now in pre-market.
