I haven't researched it.  Hadn't heard of it until you and Otter were discussing it last week.  I am trying to not add too many more new names.  We'll see how long that lasts.  Smile

What I need is for tech to get hammered for real again, but this market is resilient.

Very small trades this morning.  Added a few shares to DG-ARKF  Sold a few SLV puts.

Btw, NOW, CRM, and MSFT are 3 of my company's chief competitors.  IBM used to be in the mix too, but we left 'em in the dust Smile
Added to AVGO.

I hope May is a great month for us, but I think the market will be choppy until:
1) The Pfizer or Moderna vaccines prove they are effective against the new India double-mutation strain.  I think a lot of people are worried it's only a matter of time before what's happening in India spreads worldwide.
2) The extent of the chip shortage becomes clear.

The vaccines show good efficacy against the Indian strain, which was circulating in California over a month ago, and which now has the lowest per-capita rates of transmission and hospitalization of any state in the U.S.

My wife and I are now fully vaccinated (Moderna), and have been enjoying local restaurants for indoor dining. Getting on a plane Saturday to go visit vaccinated friends and family.

Have plans for a late Summer vacation, as it looks like Europe opens up to the fully vaccinated by June. Would prefer to go to South America, but it isn't clear to me that they will be as fully open by the end of Summer. Maybe Chile, based off of their success in getting a large % of the population vaccinated.
That's great news Otter, and enjoy your vacation!
Rotation out of growth happening again lol. I will be looking to buy these names as the dividend stocks are in nose bleed territories now Wink

Added TDOC, AVGO and BABA

PYPL, SQ and all those high flyers I need more of a correction to even think about getting in lol

AMD on watch list. Owned it years ago at $6 lol

Thanks! Once we figure out where to go, I'm sure we will  Big Grin

Based off of where we are in terms of % of population vaccinated, infection rates should drop off a cliff in the U.S. by the third week of this month. Downtrend is already underway in states where vaccination rates have reached the threshold that Israel crossed when its infection rates began to crater.

The U.S. was fortunate that it was able to mass-vaccinate just as the B117 U.K. variant became the dominant type in America. Instead of causing a massive spike, the two competing factors resulted in a plateau in infection rates.

For age cohorts like 65+ where a substantial majority of the population has already been vaccinated, hospitalization rates and deaths have already fallen off a cliff, even with the new variants out there.

I'm very much looking forward to the good news at the end of the month then!

And let's hope we don't see a repeat of what happened in Israel in other countries when the restrictions are lifted - I'm referring to the mass stampede deaths.
Speaking of vaccinations. I got my second PFE shot late yesterday. I talked sooo much trash on FB to my anti-vax because shot #1 was zero side effects. Well last night I had a runny and stuffy nose. A little nausea this AM and by noon felt like I was beaten with a ball bat. It hurts to text now but I went to work like a dummy. Smile

I don't understand, if there's a chip shortage why does TSM keep dropping?

Doesn't HD have paid days off for vaccine and after effects?
