The raise brings the yield to nearly 3.9%, the highest it's been since the '08/'09 recession.

Earnings beat too, could be a nice pop tomorrow.

MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The Board of Directors of Ameriprise Financial, Inc. (NYSE: AMP) increased the company’s quarterly cash dividend by 7 percent, or $0.07 per diluted share, to $1.04 per diluted share payable on May 29, 2020 to shareholders of record at the close of business on May 18, 2020.

I bought it a few weeks ago at 105, but only a tiny position. And now seeing these news I actually feel regret, I should have bought more...

Up 18.5% right now. Apparently the market liked the report!

Mine is a pretty small position as well, hopefully this is the start of it growing into a full one.

Could have been for me too, but I lost my apetite seeing that +18%. Let's hope for some big red numbers in the next days Smile What's your desired entry yield by the way?

I think anything above a 3% yield for AMP is a really good price. FAST Graphs puts fair value around $186 (depending on reliability of EPS estimates), and it's still trading 30% below 52-week highs.

No raises but anything that isn't a cut or suspension is a win. My June allowance looks pretty good so far.

SKT suspends dividends. It was the right thing to do if they want to avoid toxic levels of debt. They only collected about 14% of APR rent so something had to give.

Thanks Mike. On several occasions lately I have almost initiated a position without realizing the Div data on financial sites had been inaccurate for weeks.

Least surprising dividend cut I've seen in weeks.

I half expected they might get stupid and pay most of it.

ol' reliable. That div is getting scary high. The share price needs to run up to make it right. Smile

That's good news. One of the best buys in the market right now. They have plenty of cash to survive this.
