Dividend Announcement Thread!
DIS keeping the dividend frozen, at least for the first half of 2020. If they don't raise for the second semi-annual payment, that'll be 9 years of consecutive dividend growth coming to a halt. The Fox acquisition and Disney+ are obviously a current focus for the company's cash flows:

Walt Disney (NYSEBig GrinIS) declares $0.88/share semi-annual dividend, in line with previous.

Forward yield 1.19%

Payable Jan. 16; for shareholders of record Dec. 16; ex-div Dec. 13.

=====

“While the dividend itself is merely a rearrangement of equity, over time it's more like owning an apple tree. The tree grows the apples back again and again and again, and the theoretical value of the tree doesn't change just because of when the apples are about to fall.” - earthtodan
