I may be the biggest booster of tobacco stocks here. I've got a pretty large position in PM, and agree that its long-term prospects are just fine. Moreover, this may be one of those great multi-year stretches where you get to acquire at a nice price and yield before the ship rights itself. I'm braced for a pretty measly dividend increase this fall, as the payout ratio is climbing fast with the earnings decline. But the juicy current yield will provide plenty of comfort!
