What Did You Buy Today?
A little more CM.TO (Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce) to bring down the average price. Will continue on this path in the coming weeks/months if the prices stay like this... yield is 5.4% currently and that just seems too good to pass up.
Bought BA, MMM, VZ, PH and JNJ

Welcome to the forum, divmenow! I've been thinking about adding some PH to average down my price, but am hesitant to add too much of the cyclical/industrial right now. (Though it is still a very small portion of my portfolio.)
In the first couple of days of 2016 I created some really low ball orders that we might be really close of hitting, I might be buying something soon!

DIS - $90 (currently $96, was $102 when order was created)
EMR - $40 (currently $42, was $46)
ADM - $30 (currently $31.5, was $35)
V - $70 (currently $72, was $76)

Also for SBUX and NKE but those are still far from the $52 mark (in both).

You've got more discipline than I do, Rasec!

Depending on the lot size you intend to buy you could sell puts at your want-to-buy prices and get paid while you wait as well as lowering your cost per share

Unfortunately I'm still too "junior" to know enough to do that. For now I'm just comfortable buying and holding.
Picked up some MMM and WFC.  I'm also liking UTX, EMR, PH, BBL, XOM, but I'm already overweight these types of things.
From a technical analysis standpoint it appears the markets are on the edge of a cliff here, but I couldn't help myself and established a position in JNJ @ 95.59, added to VTR @ 53.50 and added to OHI at 32.44.
Added a little more BRK-B below $125.
IBM @ 120

Have been itching to start a position, this big drop was welcomed with open arms.  Tongue

Well done! I was close to adding some IBM today as well, but decided to sit tight with just one small purchase.
