After watching the John Oliver segment on Dollar General / Dollar Tree, I'm staying away from that pair.

Then you sir will be missing a big run. Don't listen to articles or videos about a company. Go visit a store on your own and see for yourself. Stores have been improved over the last few months.  It wouldn't surprise me if DG sees $200 again in 2024.

I added more this morning along with BMY, HUM, CAH, NEE and MRNA

While you may be right that it will bounce back from a disastrous 2023, I don't agree with the advice you just gave.  Stores in one area may be nice - my Dollar stores are - but it's important to understand the nationwide situation.  And the Last Week Tonight video didn't say, "Bad investment", it said, "Bad company".  I don't really want to profit off a place run like that.

This is why I don’t base investments on YouTube videos. That’s one persons observation. DG is a well run company. It has been for years. Every company had a hiccup now and then. But DG just hired its former CEO to take the reins once again. In my area me and the family go there lots. And I agree stores look much cleaner now and they have certain items locked up to prevent theft. The stock got way too cheap in recent weeks. There still making over $8 a share. How many retailers can say that? While I know all about what they pay employee but that is being corrected as well. I won’t even watch the videos. I make my own decisions when it comes to investing. But thanks for the info.
Sold 80% of my stocks and put them in ETF's. Bought positions in SMH, SCHD, VTI and VB for now.

I have decided I just don't have the time to put in anymore to do research and put up with all the nonsense lol
Used pooled dividends to add to my SBUX position.
Added cvx
For anyone following the JNJ-ABBV stock price race, ABBV just took the lead!
