I am looking forward to the GOOGL split.  I sold my AMZN a little over 3000. I was convinced I could get cheaper after another quarter of blah retail while they are building out.  Their earnings are so hard to interpret, and have been for a long time. They can show massive FCF or not, at will.

I don't have a ton of dividends left to come this month; I'll probably just pick up an ABBV and an HPQ when they do arrive.  July will be a larger dividend month.  September is 3 paycheck month, so that's really all that's left this year to be excited about.  I will probably try to get 1 additional share of every stock in my port just for fun.

yea--i get you

i actually wanted to buy arcb--saia--odfl but they all went up

tsla it's a tough one but i made a financial commitment to acquire (over time) shares--this company just cannot be ignored imho

following my lead my be dangerous to your financial health!
TSLA is in a race. Can they grow into their insane valuation before the market corrects the shares?  If Elon's concerns are legitimate, then an 80+ PE makes no sense right now.  He is a loose cannon though.  He may well be hyping the stock a month from now.  Did I say a month?  Could be a week.

i started buying amazon when i couldn't stop my wife from buying from amazon, then i like whole foods (on a limited basis), then the trucks (their logistics), warehouses (i've been to their warehouses, been to many different warehouses of different companies--amazon's warehouses stand out and are very impressive), my work location is across the street from a airport--i look at their airplanes on a daily basis. i haven't seen them but they have cargo containers for transporting their goods.

All the parts of AMZN that affect me personally are barely profitable most quarters, but they have a massive investment so no turning back now. I like AMZN at the right price.

Of course.  The retail business is enormous though.  They topped WMT on retail revs last year for the first time.  I don't know if that holds this year but still an incredible feat.  WMT has 4700 stores plus their online Biz.

You got your TGT discount this morning. Down $15 pre-market. Time to accumulate or wait for $100? That’s the question.
