Dividend Growth Runs on Dunkin?
#1
Ok, so in keeping with a theme I've detected in a few recent posts of looking for the dividend growth winners of the next couple of decades instead of relying (only) on the possibly slowing prospects of the big dividend growth winners of the last couple of decades:

What do folks think of DNKN? Are you all buying the national / global expansion story that has Dunkin as the next MCD or SBUX? Would you pay a P/E of 30 for it?

I think its an interesting thought, you really can't argue with its success since the IPO.

If it is a company you are interested in buying and holding for the next couple of decades I would initiate a partial position now to get it in your portfolio and then when opportunities present themselves to buy at a discount you add to the position.

Dominos Pizza (DPZ) is another company that has performed very well over the last 5 years but seems to be a bit expensive at the current level.
