Just came across this article comparing iPhone sales to the sales of other companies.
There are only 9 companies in the Dow index that have sales -- total sales of all of their products -- that are greater than Apple sales for just the iPhone.
iPhone sales alone are greater than ALL of Johnson and Johnson's sales, greater than ALL of Proctor and Gamble's sales, ALL of Microsoft's sales, ALL of McDonalds' sales.
Mind boggling. That is without ANY of their other products.
Would also outsell 474 of the S&P companies.
