Initial thoughts on this merger?

I think its a good mix. Ive been reading into DOW and DD over the past few months trying to understanding the chemicals and materials business...and have been torn between the two to pick one. Its also interesting to note (and makes a lot of sense, considering regulatory roadblocks that could've arised) that the plan is to split into three companies.
