VWO - Vanguard Emerging Market ETF
#1
I'm considering opening a position in the emerging market ETF VWO with it yielding ~3.2%. There's a lot of concerns about China stock crashing and now seems like a great opportunity to buy. Opinions?

My emerging market exposure is via DEM and DGS. I split the play to pick up some mid cap and small cap exposure, as those sized businesses tend to out perform over the longer time frame. Since VWO is almost all very large cap, you may want to consider splitting the position with DGS or similar ETF which is mostly medium and small cap. DGS has an indicated yield of 3.1%. The expense ratio of 0.63 is pretty expensive compare to that of VWO. The fund tries to replicate the performance of the WisdomTree Emerging Markets SmallCap Dividend Index.
