If I could only choose 20 stocks
#1
As always when I'm off I read and search the net, laundryAngry, errandsAngry, basically waste time to avoid things I should be doingBig Grin. Although, laundry is fairly important! Plus laundry is partly a waiting game so I can do other things to waste timeBig Grin Kill two birds with one stone.

This morning I was reading an article in how many stocks to own as an individual investor and while it varies I chose the number 20 just because it seemed like a nice even number.

Wells Fargo wfc
Markel mkl
Berkshire Hathaway brk.b
IBM
Qualcomm Qcom
Apple aapl
Johnson & Jonhnson jnj
Proctor & Gamble pg
Kimberly-Clarke kmb
AT&T t
Verizon vz
General Electric ge
Cummins cmi
3M mmm
Pepsi pep
Coca cola ko
Altria mo
Philip Morris pm
Chevron cvx
ExxonMobil xom

Well, this is my list just off the top of my head, no real research performed. Sure, there are better choices but I think this would be a solid portfolio over the course of 30 years. If I sat down and really thought about it maybe about 5 to 8 would be different. It's a tough one because I'm more in the thought process of 20 stocks times 5.

I put this in the off topic section because I'm not recommending any of these stocks, it's more of "If I could only..." You get the picture.

What would your 20 stocks be?
