That's a good question, benjamen. At this time I can only guess.

Re: the yield and P/FFO - The company has taken a beating - with the rest of the sector in the past six months - down nearly 19% since Jan...which I think is an overreaction from the interest rate jitters.

The company's financials are good, the balance sheet looks great and as far as I can tell, the debt isnt crippling. OHI also got a credit rating upgrade from Moodys earlier this year.

I think it is just sitting at a nice sweet spot. It is big enough to be stable and garner good credit ratings and terms, but small enough to have a lot of growth prospects. I'm not second-guessing too much -- I'm buying!
