Kind of curious what your top 10 largest holdings are for the beginning of 2018?
I think it'd be interesting to revisit this at the end of the year and see if there are any changes whether it's market conditions or rebalancing of one's portfolio. It'd also be cool to see the differences between our portfolio's and choices made over time. I excluded my Kplan's mutual funds because, A) We really don't have choices B) Kind of boring vs individual stock choices.
Here's my Top 10 with the first as the largest holding
Markel (MKL)
Apple (AAPL)
Gilead (GILD)
Nvidia (NVDA)
Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.B)
Abbvie (ABBV)
Qualcomm (QCOM)
Kroger (KR)
Magna International (MGA)
Target (TGT)
Target squeezed out Blackrock by a couple of bucks due to a little run. I never planned on having Nividia in the the top 10 but that's the way it worked and I'm not a fan of selling anything cause I always regret it as time goes on. Still upset I sold CAT! Actually, I never paid attention to my top 10...it just turned out this way over the years.
