Traditional IRA vs Roth IRA
#12
I'm 100% ROTH and then taxable. Being self employed, I'm able to keep my income low enough so that I don't need the tax deduction for the Traditional IRA.

For employed people the best route is 401(k) to employer match. You can't do better than free money. After that it depends on what tax bracket you are in. 28% or higher bracket, max out the 401(k). Too high for ROTH anyways. Lower brackets, after hitting employer match, I'd go with ROTH and then any left over savings could go towards the 401(k). Go taxable if you're lower than the 25% bracket.
