Then you sir will be missing a big run. Don't listen to articles or videos about a company. Go visit a store on your own and see for yourself. Stores have been improved over the last few months. It wouldn't surprise me if DG sees $200 again in 2024.
While you may be right that it will bounce back from a disastrous 2023, I don't agree with the advice you just gave. Stores in one area may be nice - my Dollar stores are - but it's important to understand the nationwide situation. And the Last Week Tonight video didn't say, "Bad investment", it said, "Bad company". I don't really want to profit off a place run like that.

This is why I don’t base investments on YouTube videos. That’s one persons observation. DG is a well run company. It has been for years. Every company had a hiccup now and then. But DG just hired its former CEO to take the reins once again. In my area me and the family go there lots. And I agree stores look much cleaner now and they have certain items locked up to prevent theft. The stock got way too cheap in recent weeks. There still making over $8 a share. How many retailers can say that? While I know all about what they pay employee but that is being corrected as well. I won’t even watch the videos. I make my own decisions when it comes to investing. But thanks for the info.
