Great article, thanks. The author makes a lot of strong points, especially about staying in stocks for the long haul. I'm not sure it squarely answers the question of why having 100% of your retirement funds in stocks beats other approaches, though. I was expecting a discussion of all stocks versus some allocation to bonds and other asset classes. Also no discussion about the tough question of whether there is any merit to keeping a little of your powder dry, in the form of cash to capitalize on those inevitable pullbacks and bears. I still wrestle with that question.
