Take a look at a 20 year chart for VWDRY. You could have a ten bagger lately, or much earlier on it would have been a a 95%+ loss and wait 15yrs to get half your capital back. Same story with a number of wind and solar startups. Step one for me is trying to figure out who will even survive the first 5-10 years as the tech evolves beyond the experimental stage.
