MMM is not on my shopping list yet because I see things getting worse there and management is horrible. If it gets under $140 I will take a position.Think about this. MMM was doing bad even when there wasn't any tariffs lol. Plus 50% of their business is outside the US.

Ones that are right near my buy in targets - CMI, CAT, EMN, ROK, CAH, CSCO MO, and VNO (i'm sure there's lost more now with the market down 600 lol)

I'm just glad I bought Gold stocks a few months back. They have really helped offset my losses. This sector will continue to outperform the market.

Are you getting me back for the GE comment on the insider buys thread?  Smile   MMM is on and off my shopping list.  Your points are well taken.  I am going to wade in at some point.  It's way too early to dive.  Smile
HAHA not at all. Just stating the facts lol

Took a very small position this morning in NOC and LHX - 15 shares each. Enough to get started and will buy more if more weakness occurs

Added to MO and PFE. These are now in my top 5 largest holdings.

I see BEN was mentioned here. I may buy this by the end of day. 3.8% dividend is nice

I'm thinking about adding a little BEN and MO today or tomorrow myself!

It will never happen. Just some fake news. PM was a great buy today on a silly rumor.

It may be even a better buy today. PM premarket is around 75.5

Kerim why not just buy PM here? Higher dividend and you get a nice price this morning!

I hold both PM and MO. The market seems to be implying that PM will pay a significant premium for MO, and may take on debt or dilute existing shareholdings to finance the deal, hence PM's stock drop and MO's gain.

Having held through several mergers (most recently BMS into AMCR), it takes a lot of time for the structure of the deal to shake out. Until then, there will be market uncertainty and price fluctuations. I'm just going to continue to hold both for now.

I actually did just that. Sold out of MO at $52+ and took the $7 profit and switched it into PM at $72.12.

I just don't ever see this merger happening. They would never let it happen. I will get back into MO under $50 again.
