Interesting that you both bought MMM. I was reading this article yesterday: https://www.fool.com/investing/2023/03/1...dend-safe/. It talked me out of investing in them. What's your take?

Does anybody know what's going on with SCHD? People on the Yahoo board are saying the ex div date is the 23rd with a payout on the 27th, but my google fu comes up completely empty. I see no dividend announcement whatsoever since December.

I tend to agree with that take. The dividend could be in a precarious position.

MMM dividend is done some quarter soon.  Any real research makes that clear.  The market noticed long ago.

I heard it all before. MMM isn’t going anywhere. I took a position as well today. Buy when everyone hates it. When ever I see people in here talking negative about a name, that’s usually a bottom for me. I could name a dozen names people hated and they all doubled in a year lol

You want to talk company’s that won’t survive. Talk about the banks. More bankruptcies to come.

And don’t believe everything you read online

Right, so it's strange that it's not mentioned on their website.
But you can find "Schwab Equity ETFs Distribution Schedule 2023" pfd there.
Which says that ex-div March 22 and distribution March 27.

But it appears that they haven't made an official declaration yet, which is a bit odd indeed.

Gulp.  I'm getting a bit nervous.  I wonder what's going on.  Usually they announce 4 quarters worth of dividends in advance.
