It's funny too because I read this detailed analysis that said that even though E-Rod hasn't had great stuff this year, the team scores a lot of runs when he pitches so the team wins the most when he goes. Now the series is tied but the Sox are screwed. Both E-Rod and Chris Sale had dismal starts. Can't get far in the playoffs without solid starters.

Pitching is so mental and it's hard for them to get their mojo back some times. Over and over I've seen my Twins enter the playoffs with league MVPs and CY Young winners/candidates, then get swept repeatedly. I think we hold the sad record of most consecutive playoff losses in any sport.

You probably need to be a White Sox fan this afternoon. No matter who you face in the ALCS it's an advantage to not face both #1 and #2 SPs to start a series.

I am happy to root for the White Sox. Boo on the Astros! (Not because they cheated a few years back, just because they kill the Red Sox in head-to-head competition).

He is very capable of forcing game 5.
