Did anyone else get a class action notice in the mail about their JNJ shares?
The allegation is that the price of JNJ common stock was "articifially inflated" as a result of false statements by the defendants concerning product recalls.
Here's the fun part: the estimated average recovery per affected share is approximately $0.05 before deduction of attorney's fees and litigation expenses.
Reading further, it looks like you might get up to $0.39 per share for shares bought between 10/14/08 and 7/21/10, and even more if you actually sold at certain times.
I bought 50 shares in that window. Is it worht filling out the form and providing supporting documentation for a shot at about $19.00 (which may be seriously reduced by lawyers' fees)?
