Be very careful with CEF exposure. Most use a good bit of leverage. I often find it interesting that some investors who would never use margin will buy levered CEF shares without reservation. Because of their use of leverage, their tendency to make wide swings between premium and discount to NAV, and their somewhat limited market mostly consisting of retail income investors, the shares can become fairly illiquid and their movements, especially drops, can be strongly magnified in an erratic arket.

IMO ETFs are generally a much better choice than CEF exposure toa similar mix of investments.
