TROW surprise dividend?

Checked my account today to have a mystery dividend from TROW, I thought they had paid last month and it looks like another this month. Did I miss something?

Nevermind, just found an article about it. $2 per share, not a bad deal. Hard to find info about it though!

Yeah I use the same website as rapidacid.
These things happen, it's an extra dividend often paid because the company feels like it currently has too much cash (either through normal operations or sale of assets) and chooses to return that to shareholders because the company itself can't figure out an immediate use for it.

T. Rowe paid a $2 per share special dividend. It was announced along with their most recent increase.

Interesting. After searching a bit I found it, but it wasnt showing on anything in Fidelity.
