I also took a new position in PXD thanks to the secondary at $153

I needed to add another name in the sector to go along with CVX and EOG

now the only other sector I'm underweight in is leisure  Big Grin
Dude I am a charter member of ENPH.  I made a few hundred a month the past year selling short puts while it ran.  I have a few short puts that are WAY in the money after this bloodbath.  I can only roll forward so much before I own $140 shares.   Big Grin  I said here many times I was good with adding a real position starting at $125.  If I am honest I need ENPH to head back to $120ish to be back to even.  I wasn;t aggressive enough when it was truly cheap.  I'll add shares to my growthy port in the meantime.

Yeah yeah. What ever floats your boat  Big Grin lol
I am very good with owning ENPH long-term.  How happy I am in the end very much depends on the entry.  We'll see where the bottom is soon enough.

Well me too. Got in at $108.90  Big Grin

This will be a big winner for years to come.  You have to add at some point, so why not today. I don't worry about making a few $ here and there  Big Grin . I'm in to win it lol

Are we having fun today  Big Grin

That's all good, but let's be a little bit careful with our words OK?   We have no idea what is going on in Kerim's life and we are planning a mutiny in broad daylight on HIS forum.  I'm not cool with that.  Not even a little.  He has been nothing but kind to us when he was here.  I get it he seems to have lost interest.  We don't know the reason.  Under any other terms I am out.  No smiley emoticon on this post.

in the past i had some good private conversations with kerim, i'm going to speculate that it' not that he lost interest but rather that other things are more important for the time being.

my guess is that kerim will check in sooner or later and when that time comes, everything will get straightened out

Maybe or maybe not, and I have no problem with planning another forum.  Eric has attempted contact.  That's all we can do.  I just wasn't good with the two week deadline which is basically what we did.  It's not like Kerim was making a living off this site.  He could join us elsewhere a year from now when he has time and have no responsibility to the site.

I don't remember if Guru or Ken brought the subject up initially but in 48 hours it turned into an emergency which it isn't.  Crimson suggested the end of the month deadline.  That's reasonable.  The new sites are now launched and can collect new members who have waited.  That is the only real problem.  Divmenow and Crimson fixed it quick.   If we don't abandon this forum in the meantime I'm good with that.  I know it's just a forum but we've enjoyed it for years.  This would be a helluva lot easier if he'd respond.

Looks like we are in for a choppy start to the week. I remember when a 500pt move in the DOW was a true headline event. Personally I hope we get our Covid correction out of the way sooner than later. Maybe some of these re-opening stocks will return to sane valuations. I think earnings jsts got muted for awhile. It seems likely anyway.

Everyone have their shopping lists ready? Looks like it could be a fun week!

RE: What Did You Buy Today? - fenders53 - 07-19-2021

I am ready but I may wait until tomorrow for the dust to settle to even start nibbling. I am optimistic 2021 turns out fine with all the liquidity but I see no catalyst to launch higher in the next day of two.

added to NSC.
Buy list isn't ready yet, I think I'm going to need a 20% correction before I start throwing extra money in.

Picked up NNN and PNW.

@EricL it would be nice to look at the shopping lists and learn if anyone care to share?

Bought in more oxy, wba, eog. Pdd.

Shopping list top of my mind.

Amzn, googl, baba, cvs, LMT, xlf, oxy

RE: What Did You Buy Today? - fenders53 - 07-19-2021

I am going slow on stocks clearly in falling knife mode. THRH might be temping by tomorrow. Some of the Momos aren't even falling today. Just a rotation yet again, for now.

RE: What Did You Buy Today? - kered - 07-19-2021

Haven't bought any yet but I'm eyeing adding some more NNN, CTBI, and ENB

Heads will explode if JNJ tries that.
