Good choice. Cash is good right now. I'm in no rush to buy anything either. I'm just not that excited anymore believe it or not lol. Nothing really stands out to buy as 2023 should be a difficult year. I'm waiting patiently for a big crash. Todays is a good start. I'm about 50% cash myself and am setup for the next 1-2 years to make a few percent and not lose much on the downside.
I have been investing in other things. My son and I got heavily into Pokémon cards and have probably spent 30k in recent months on graded cards
Making money and having fun at the same time lol

I have like 600 beanie babies in my attic just wasting space. OMG don’t even get me started lol
But I think pokemon cards are hear to stay. They been around since 1996 and some of those cards are worth a fortune. My kids are all into them. If I can only say how much we spend on that ?
My 1 kid has a base charizard that’s worth like 25k. Don’t ask me how I know that lol
But beanie babies were a fad. As we’re those cabbage patch kids

Don't be quick to discount beanie babies. My friend recently sold a rare one he had for $2k. They had no idea what they were worth and were about to throw them out.

Used my energy dividends from CHK, PXD, and ARCH to buy a share each of AMZN and GOOGL.
Now up to 3 shares AMZN, 2 GOOGL, and 1 META from reinvested dividends in the account.

The recession hasn’t even dug in yet. 2023 will be a year to forget!
I think I will stick to cash for a while and I have a bunch of puts in the money expiring on Friday that I will roll over.

You may be right but I'm only buying 3-5 shares each and dollar cost averaging in.
