Congrats on PEGA earnings.  I am glad your employer saw the light and decided to stop hiding their profits.  This will help with recovery when the market gets out of this sour mood.

Finished out my position in GNRC and sold a covered call.  Added some JSP.  Rebuilding that highish yielder position now that it has corrected. Targeting MAIN and ARCC on a bit more dip.

Thanks!!!  Yeah, Friday was interesting, only PEGA and ECC were up for me.  Theoretically if PEGA recovers early while the rest of the market flounders, I can sell a ton of it and buy everything else cheap. Our CEO was particularly happy with one deal where we won out over Microsoft and Salesforce. (Microsoft now has a CRM solution as well)

Stockguru - not jumped out of a window.  Just ignoring pricing and focusing on raising my annual dividends.  I'm aiming to reach $9000 this year but it's a stretch without selling any PEGA.  Right now I have a dollar cast average rule of 2 ABBV, 2 HPQ, and 1 SCHD monthly.  Dividends earned above that go into anything else, like BX and CVS.

Everything will be wiped out at this point. Buffet was right. It's nothing more then a casino lol

Oh I have been buying. I just keep adding to the same 5 names on dips. Hasn't worked out but in the long run it will. I'm not even looking at other names. Just adding to what I have  Smile

As long as none of my dividend payers cut their dividends, I will feel like I'm making progress. That's why I will never go back to ORC; they cut the dividend all the time to match the price on its way down.

Yup once the story changes it's time to move on. Everything is done, so it's not stock specific. No need to panic. Even if you have no cash you will still do well over the long haul

In times like this I will add 1-3 shares and not go in big lol

Like today added a UNH, AAPL, COST and PEP in my kids accounts

And I added some banks and fat dividend payers

OHI near $24 level now. I will see how earnings are today and if they keep the dividend. If it's not so bad I may buy some and ride it back to $30

That's the spirit. These things come and go.
I'm still at that point of my investing career where I smile at red days. But I'm also quite cautious, I keep doing my regular buys no matter what but I have yet to throw any extra cash in... the time for that will come too but it'll require some more red.

That is a popular trick.  You know how I feel about yield traps lol.  They just make it look good for the new victims.  My predictin is starting to come true on the BDCs correcting.  I jumped a little early on MAIN.  Watching ARCC close.  Dodged a bullet with some put sells there.  They expired just in time.

Added CTRA, SRE, UNH, TD, SCHW and CLF

Trimmed SBLK, MRO and CAR all in my trading account

Just used my pooled dividends to add 3 more shares of SBUX ahead of earnings.

2.65% yield and within 1% of the 52-week low. We'll see how my market timing is on this one!

I'm hoping for low to mid 60's on SBUX to enter. Too much union issues and China. I go to Starbucks 4 days a week, so I'm a big fan  Big Grin

A test of the covid lows will be right around $60.

I'm also looking to get back into Starbucks soon. Probably Ford too.
