Today will be yet another chapter in my "I don't have a clue what the market will do" book.

Stuck a lot of LBOs on companies trading toward my prices near open. A couple hit - AMAT and QSR. Also made market buys of ABBV and BMO. I suppose things could take a radical turn the last 30 minutes of trading but there are no signs of this so this should be it for today.

Added some MRK too

We've seen crazy intra-day turnarounds like that, but I don't remember any on the day a world super power launched an invasion.  I had a frustrating trading day.  I misplaced my phone so I was out of business. I use my computer to trade, but Vanguard started this security layer thing where they send a security code to my phone I have to type into the computer to log in.  It's VERY annoying to need two devices to access my account.  So I tried to make a few trades on my small TD account.  Limit orders missed by about 50 cents.  Most of the orders I intended to place on the big account would have missed as well. Just wasn't meant to be.

I think we have shared misery here. So I'm on SA, check my normal websites, everything seems fine. Have my Active Trader panel up. Go into it around market open, go to place a trade. Won't take 'em. Try to reload the Fidelity website. No go. We had maybe an inch of snow last night, there's some on the dish. I clean it off and come back inside. By then MSFT and TSLA had both rebounded above my target prices. I'm sure there were others. Set a bunch of LBOs, figure there was a brief spate of buy-the-dip going on but it would come back down. Sort of acted like it might for a bit but didn't.

I tried to make a trade on my phone before going outside. Fidelity changed the trade interface since the last time I used it, can't even remember when. I'm sure it's easy to figure out but not when I was already impatient. Nobody to blame but me on this one. Technology - ugh.

Thought you cashed out?   Smile

Just messing with you, but almost everybody that "quits" comes back and posts some new buys a few weeks later.  That's a good thing.

Guess I better get to town for a new phone before the market pukes and makes me sad I can't buy.

Today's buys were GOOGL, KLAC, NVDA and SHW. I set some limit orders but unless the market does a hard reversal I think this will be it for today and this week.

No I actually posted a few weeks ago on my new buys,

I'm a rookie but where else am I going to put my money. The bank  Big Grin

So I see a lot of names are bouncing off 52 week lows. Any you recommend?

I like AOS, and FL so far and pay dividends.

What about MSFT, APD, FDX?

I don't think EOG will disappoint soon.

I regained access to my account 20 minutes before close.  Wild flurry to adjust and open some option trades.  Turned out fine but not how it's supposed to go. Vanguard security is over the top and it's clear their representatives agree.

TRV, HSY, NUE and ADM are 4 rock solid stocks right now.

Fenders that TTCF you like it near a 52 week low but at least its basing. You adding here?

Thought on IP at these low levels. This company should do well in rising interest rates.
