Yup, I was looking at either QCOM or CSCO when I realized INTC had really strong numbers as well (rather surprisingly to see to be honest), and they may be winning some space with the new iPhone 7.
So I decided I'll go with CSCO (1/2 position) and now it's a matter of choosing INTC or QCOM for a (1/3 or 1/4 position just to test the waters), who shall win the chip sector?!
Can anyone pull up their crystal ball?

To confuse you a bit more
have you considered Broadcom (AVGO) which recently merged with Avago and NVIDIA (NVDA) in the chip sector? Both look promising.

I had a look, both PEs are too high and dividends are quite low, looks like a gamble at this point.
Went with Cisco, bought 90 stocks, I'll keep checking Qualcom, I think they have an advantage on the wearables world vs any other chip maker, the real question is, will wearables be a real thing anytime soon? Or we'll we skip wearables and move straight to VR?

I havent done a lot of research on VR, but I think QCOM will do well if VR takes off too. I think they just released a new SDK a couple of days ago. NVIDIA should be another good play in the space.
I also like QCOM for the vehicular network space...as vehicles become more intelligent and connected to the internet -- QCOM should see some growth there. I think Intel is giving some run of its money here in this space with some ICE (In-Car Entertainment) deals announced.

TGT is under $67 at $66.90. That's under 13x earnings. Does anyone have any opinion on this? I'm heavily considering initiating a position here.

DEO is an ADR
I do get hit with a small transaction/transfer/process fee but it's not a lot.
