Thanks, I was thinking of GNRC.  That's a wild ride too.  I may join you in ENPH.

Sold a put in BMY, PFE and ENPH. That will have to work on a big up market day.

I thought you said you couldn't find any more bargains. And now you want to buy EHPH with a 158 PE  Big Grin

I can name 100 stocks that are still bargains and trade at a PE less then 15 and still yield 2-3%

You just have to look for them  Big Grin

That's would be helpful if you do that. ( Not saying I can't find) bit I did look at top 150 stocks in spy and hardly found 3-5 without issues which were not monstrously over valued.

Just an income play that expires EOW.  ENPH premiums contain enough extrinsic value to make them easy to roll forward a week if necessary.  I am OK with more ENPH longterm but of course I'd rather get it cheaper.

I am not finding much quality to get excited about on the long side but puts keep expiring and I try not to let the cash get too high.  That's all I am up to.  A couple trades like this every week or two added to the boring stuff crushes my dividend income consistently.

RE: What Did You Buy Today? - divmenow - 04-05-2021

Added ABBV and took a new position in CHWY (Small for now) lol

And I agree there are still some nice buys out there if you look hard enough lol. MO and PM come to mind and I have been adding on dips

ENPH is fine if your looking lightyears away haha! That entire sector was so hyped. But there correcting as to where you can at least think about them.

RE: What Did You Buy Today? - ken-do-nim - 04-05-2021

I added more to RIO today.

I already own MO, PM and pharma.  I own ENPH too but not at current prices.  I am just playing my income game and when a nice dip comes I add to my growth port.  Those stocks are flying too as none of them have a crazy PE other than ENPH.  I could add a little BABA but not much else lately.

RE: What Did You Buy Today? - fenders53 - 04-05-2021

And yes there are some OK deals but I own those sectors mostly. I am just crying because I like dips. I better start buying more when I get a chance. The other choice is buy stocks that already ran lately.

I just add dips on sector rotations. Every day its a new theme  Big Grin

I need more AMZN news to kill companies like CVS, WBA, FDX ect ect. I like adding on over reactions. And the market always gives you opportunities on bogus news and people panicking lol

To me oil had its big run as have banks. I wont touch of those now.  Airlines trading higher then before the pandemic hit as is the case with restaurants - No thanks

LMT, NOC, LHX and those defense sectors still have room to run and still undervalued - Yes

Retail - Already trading at loft levels. Mine as well just buy AMNZN now lol

Right now I'm adding or buying those so called stay at home stocks like CHWY, AAPL. FB, ect. Those had big runs and now traders are selling due to over reactions. But some of these names will do great regardless that were at full capacity. My moto has always been, buy what works and what people use on a daily basis. And don't listen to the critics. These names that have worked will always work unless someone else comes along and betters them. No one can touch CHWY, AAPL and FB and others.

I added PEP under $130 a few weeks back now $144, PG at $123 now $137, CP at $353 now $386, AMGN at $221.80 and now $252 and AVGO at $423 now $488

And added to WEC, NEE, DUK and utilities when the market sold them off due to interest rates and that presented some good buys . Sector is up 11% last 30 days  Cool

My point is there will always be opportunities. The market over reacts to the up or downside. This is why I watch the market every day to catch those people who are fools to sell and I profit off their foolishness'  Big Grin

ENPH could go right back to $200. Valuations means nothing anymore  Big Grin

RE: What Did You Buy Today? - fenders53 - 04-05-2021

I was with you on most of those sector dips. Some I jumped on adequately and some I grabbed 10 or 20 shares when 50 or more was the correct answer. That's easier to see 4 to 6 weeks later. Smile

RE: What Did You Buy Today? - ken-do-nim - 04-06-2021

Big day ahead! I get to touch pretty much all of my accounts.

401k
I'm dropping down from 12% of my salary into the tax deferred plan to 6% of my salary into the ROTH plan. Rationale is that if I want to retire at age 60, drawing down the ROTH proceeds and putting them into dividend stocks will be simple, but the tax deferred portion will be problematic to tap. It also frees up my monthly budget a bit.

HSA
About $900 to invest

Taxable
About $2000 left to invest

ROTH
I want to move more money into the industrials & transportation sector funds

IRA
I created the IRA in preparation for the ROTH rollover last night. Now to figure out how long I need to keep it before I file the paperwork for the rollover, and try to move another $6k in.
