RE: What Did You Buy Today? - NilesMike - 02-27-2020 Bought UNM sub 25.00 I'm topped off for now but will reload if another 10% leg down comes. RE: What Did You Buy Today? - DividendGarden - 02-27-2020 XOM below $51. How low will it go? Pulled a Fenders. 5 shares and 10 shares lol RE: What Did You Buy Today? - divmenow - 02-27-2020 I don't like oil but I couldn't pass up PSX at $76 I'm looking for other bargains today... List is a mile long now lol RE: What Did You Buy Today? - Kerim - 02-27-2020 (02-27-2020, 10:10 AM)DividendGarden Wrote: XOM below $51. How low will it go? I've already got a pretty big pile of XOM, but am sorely tempted to take this opportunity to average down. Lower wouldn't surprise me, though, given how everyone is freaking out about the potential effects of the new virus. RE: What Did You Buy Today? - divmenow - 02-27-2020 (02-26-2020, 12:26 PM)fenders53 Wrote:Wow called that one on AAPL. It's down $18 today. Holy Cow. Maybe I will buy 1 share now(02-26-2020, 12:19 PM)divmenow Wrote:Updated my last post. Buy targets. And you need to post the correction thread. You are good about keeping your cool too lol.(02-26-2020, 12:03 PM)fenders53 Wrote:Ha what did I tell You. That 400 point green is gone already. It happen like 5 min after I wrote lol. Looks like you can buy now. Oh wait we may may close down 400-500 points now. To wait or not to wait. That is the question(02-26-2020, 11:25 AM)divmenow Wrote:Yeah I am sitting here just dying to buy. I was tied up at work yesterday or I would have bought some industrials. Who is that one guy that preaches "never do today what you wish you had done yesterday?" Now I remember. that was me lol. Keep an eye on me please and thank you. I need to go find something constructive to do before I start forcing trades.(02-26-2020, 11:06 AM)fenders53 Wrote: I was wondering if you still owned it. It's the same ol same ol debt story in the oil patch. OXY has some toxic financing. The Warren Buffet loan shark deal looks real bad right now. I think they were counting on $60 oil. I think we all were. They are in trouble if we visit $45 oil and sit there. The flu could cause just that. I was reading an article the other day. If OXY ever does run, Buffet can execute those warrants and just keep on selling to get that part his money back. In addition to the loan interest that I think is at 8 1/2%.Yeah I actually sold OXY twice for a profit and I didn't want to take a my chances a 3rd time lol. RE: What Did You Buy Today? - divmenow - 02-27-2020 MA cant believe the beating that ones taking. I lost all my profits in that one now lol. But I will be looking to add in the coming days. RE: What Did You Buy Today? - DividendGarden - 02-27-2020 (02-27-2020, 10:38 AM)divmenow Wrote: MA cant believe the beating that ones taking. Wow! $347 down to $283, that's quite a drop. Maybe 20% down in a week! RE: What Did You Buy Today? - fenders53 - 02-27-2020 Credit card companies are overvalued, but I still love them long term. Valuation always matter. I accept no credit for that not so profound thought lol. It's a good week to be too cashy. My 2019 ride was muted. I'll get some it if back now. I continue to make mostly small purchases today HON-ADM-CAT-LHX-RTN-DAL-CBRL. I have purchased several of these more than once today. Thank God for free trades. I'm not likely done today but saving some powder for tomorrow. I expect more ugly so we'll probably be up 1000 tomorrow. I could live with that too. True confession, NEE is far beyond irrational IMO and I finally sold it for a huge gain when it ran up. It's falling already. I intended to never trade it but this is too stupid when it ran up this AM. I parked the cash in MINT so I don't mess up and spend it on a falling knife. I will be there for a re-entry soon. I can't believe any Momo stock is surviving this beat down. If this lasts much longer they wlll be very rare. What Did You Buy Today? - vbin - 02-27-2020 Closed my s&p put for a sweet profit. One remaining. This might continue Japan extending their spring break due to crona fear and 1 Korean super carrier was in LA Korea Town before she went back and was detected positive. That's scary. RE: What Did You Buy Today? - divmenow - 02-27-2020 And the market is roaring back now. Time to buy XOM lol $52 and change RE: What Did You Buy Today? - pdaignau - 02-27-2020 Monday I bought some Ford (F) and Starbucks (SBUX) Today I bought some Ford (F) and Microsoft (MSFT) All transactions are relatively small (~500 of less) F and MSFT are new positions. I often mix higher dividend stocks (F) with lower dividend stocks (MSFT) purchases to keep my dividend income/rate up. |
