lol the market is too funny. Glad I decided to top up NKE a bit afterhours
Got a bit at 49.50. So dissapointing, was really looking to add more today if it dropped some more.

I got in at ~$54, so I'm still happy to have traded 1/2 of my GIS for NKE. Sold GIS high, bought NKE low, and expect NKE to grow much faster than GIS.

DIS is looking great here at $94/share. Also, BF.B has sold off recently, and I'm considering initiating a position in MOV. Anyone have opinions on these?

I may add BF.B to the DEO already in my portfolio. I love the so call sin stocks.

Same here. Their P/E's stay low, so reinvested dividends get more bang for the buck.

The libertarian and the investor in me love them too. MO is by far the best investment I've ever made.
But I do occasionally have some mixed feelings when I see someone smoking, which never used to happen to me. My first thought is still usually "hey, that guy is probably giving me some money!" But sometimes, more recently, that is followed by a small twinge of guilt about his health. I don't believe it is my responsibility to care for him, and I don't think that divesting my shares would change a thing, but I suppose maybe I should be less giddy about it.

Pick up a healthcare or two, then you can feel comfortable knowing there is that for him.

BF.b still looks expensive to me as it's trading at more than 26 times expected 2017 earnings, has a historical growth rate of less than 10% and a dividend yield of just 1.4%. Analysts are expecting just 5% growth going forward as well, so I'm not really seeing what is attractive with the stock right now. I don't know that I'd pay more than $30 for it, which would be a forward PE of 17 and a yield of around 2.3%
Is there something I am missing here?

I didn't realize that it's growth rate was so low. I thought it had high margins and was a fast grower. Oh, well. I'm always happy to buy more DIS at these levels.
