In general, I avoid companies that any one thing can cause major issues. I am not a big fan of the fertilizer companies that focus too much on one fertilizer such as potash (POT) or nitrogen (CF). In this sector, I prefer AGU since it is more diversified across types of fertilizer and wholesale/retail.
Personally, I have been picking up TGT. Ignoring the bad press, just about every financial number is heading upwards: revenue, earnings, foot traffic, online traffic, ect.
