I haven't researched it.  Hadn't heard of it until you and Otter were discussing it last week.  I am trying to not add too many more new names.  We'll see how long that lasts.  Smile

What I need is for tech to get hammered for real again, but this market is resilient.

Very small trades this morning.  Added a few shares to DG-ARKF  Sold a few SLV puts.

Merck I was buying in the late 90s and gave up on it then. Smile

Fwiw, of the individual stocks I bought in March, the top 3 so far are Target, Lockheed Martin, and Oracle.  The bottom 3 are Johnson & Johnson, Eli Lilly, and ABBVie.

I have to confess I did, in fact, sell JNJ, LLY, and CAT yesterday, and spread the proceeds among others doing well iike LHX, LMT, TGT, CSCO, and RA.  Now with the news this morning that JNJ's vaccine is causing problems, I'm glad I did so.
added JNJ, LLY, LMT and MO

The Vax is a foot note on JNJ earnings.  PFE might benefit though.  Confidence is wounded for JNJ Vax now.  Why would you choose it when you have other choices.?  CAT will probably run higher but the stock price run is way ahead of itself.

I did the same. Added to JNJ and LLY. Both are right at the 100 MA. Each time these stocks have been great buys here. This was not the time to sell, but add. JNJ selling will be short lived. The news is they just paused the vaccine.  6 people out of 6.8 million. 0.000005% ratio. And they don't even know if the vaccine is what caused the blood clots lol

LOL This wounded confidence is BS. There are a lot of people who don't want to get 2 shots and wait 3 weeks to a month. My work place all got the J@J shot are were all fine. Each person is different. Even the Phizer and Moderna shot has side affects. Some get ill,  and others don't. Its all based on the individual. And the vaccines wont even put a dent in these companies one way or another. Not a big deal at all.  Big Grin
Hey all you T lovers can buy it today under $29.70 lol

I get all that.  Doesn't matter much if it is BS.  It based on perception and that will matter for awhile.  Right or wrong some countries have halted it.  I own plenty of JNJ so don't be thinking I am hating on it.  Smile They will sell it somewhere. In my little world I know people that cancelled their JNJ Vax appointment a few weeks ago and found a PFE or Moderna appointment.  There will be a lot more of that for awhile IMO. I've been vaxxed more than most after a 34yr Army career. Some were pretty shakey with rough side effects and when I have a choice I am getting the one I believe has less chance of trouble. I am PFE vaxxed BTW. Round one anyway.
The funny thing is, T has a great dividend but the stock price goes nowhere; whereas my top yielders ORC, OXLC, and RA are all gaining in price as well as having a much higher yield. Riding it while it lasts Smile
Sold T puts. Usual action post ex div day.
Sold a JNJ put. That would make it a core position again. Limit orders to buy some more long shares. Close enough to trigger today most likely. I trimmed some above 170 so this would be a decent entry IMO.
Based on the information available so far, birth control pills are statistically more likely to cause blood clots than the JNJ vaccine.
The pause in JNJ vaccinations is purely political. We have enough doses of Pfizer and Moderna to vaccinate the population that wants to be vaccinated. Supply now outstrips demand in many parts of the country. Administration doesn't want to risk any blowback for blood clots when there are sufficient stockpiles of other vaccines.

So, precautionary pause on JNJ doesn't affect vaccine rollout, which is currently being affected more by vaccine hesitancy than other factors. The pause also signals caution, and hopefully steers some of the vaccine hesitant to get Pfizer or Moderna shots.

In all likelihood, just as with the AZ vaccine in Europe, guidelines will come out that JNJ should be reserved for 50+, 65+, or some other population group. We will then quietly "loan" our JNJ vaccine stockpile to other countries as part of vaccine diplomacy, as we did with AstraZeneca.
