I am starting to run out of ideas for future purchases.  Everything seems to be getting very expensive.  Ideas?

benjamen

I have made my last purchases for the year.  Going forward, I would like to acquire more healthcare and utility sector stocks. I am too heavy in financials and materials, so I will be holding off on future purchases in those areas

I'm about 90% done with my utility rankings article, hope to finish it up in the next day or so. Will give you a link when it's posted.

There are some nice opportunities in the sector.

Great, Eric.  Looking forward to it.
The utility update article was just posted on Seeking Alpha.

Hope you enjoy!

Many thanks! Will read right now (before reading, I've been eying for the last few weeks Exelon + SO + DUK + D, I'll write a quick update after reading if it proves my points or I just confirm I know nothing of this business, as I sometimes feel I'm the John Snow of investing...)

EDIT: Not bad!  Smile More importantly, this 2nd analysis proves your analysis from 6 months ago! So good job to you! Pity you didn't mention Exelon in it. I'll stay within my watch list for now.

With the high prices in basically everything, I have been fairly quiet in the stock market as of late.  I did finally trim BBL and SOUHY and bought more MMM, DOW, VZ, and PRU since the December update.  I am still light on utilities, but every thing seems to be over priced.

Things continue to be expensive in the market.  Since the last update I have been nibbling on TGT, ADM, and EMR.  The only new addition is a small position in AAPL.  I would love to add more health care and utilities, but I will have to wait for prices to come back down.

Since the last update, I have averaged down on TGT and OHI.  While I am still doing a monthly purchase, I am saving up a pile of cash waiting for the market to present an opportunity.
