I have been nibbling gold in the Conservative Options thread.  Those nibbles are 100 shares nibbles so it's not getting any love here.   Big Grin   I hope I am wrong but don't think gold is going to get any traction until the Bitcoin frenzy cools off a little.

I intend to nibble some tech today.  Maybe close out a few of my riskier puts temporarily while I can.  A couple of them are making me nervous.
Took a pretty good size position in PG this morning. And no not 2 shares lol

Also added to AVGO. Yes its tech but its one pf the more safer ones

You know you just spoke out both sides of your mouth in about an hour right?  I'm going to start calling you DivemeCramer if you don't stop that.  Smile

AVGO is a forum sweetheart.  I sold my small position in Skyworks early.  It's up too big to add to any month soon.  I might add it in TSM or whatever else dips.  Trying to keep my growthy port under 15 names since it's only 4 month old lol.

That would be disastrous. Would take us back to the market highs of December, 2019.  Big Grin

Tech are names like PYPL, CRWD, FB ect.

AVGO I don't consider a tech name only because of the high dividend it pays lol

And I am nothing like Cramer. He has his 5 names he hyped and everything else he bashes  Big Grin

You say your growth portfolio is only 4 months old. My god what were you waiting for. You missed all the runs. That's what you get for holding T so long  Big Grin

I'm bored passing me time so excuse my insults. We got 12 inches of snow this morning  Big Grin

You're fine.  It gets boring watching stock tickers while I am snow and Covid bound and mostly stuck inside.

AVGO, a PREMIERE CHIP STOCK ISN'T A TECH STOCK? That was funny.

Yes the new port is only 4 or 5 months old.  I've owned tech forever but I just won't buy 100 shares of stock with crazy PEs that will get cut in half some day.  It is 100% funded by selling option contracts so it's not even like real money lol.  It's just killing my defensive main port, for now anyway.  I really do wish I had done this a year ago.

So keep on being impulsive.  It's entertaining calling you out.  Smile
Added to CSCO, CODI, and OHI.
Sold 40% of my PFE today. Probably continue sell covered calls on the rest. It was a core holding the past year, and I've owned some for well over 20 years. The income has been great the past year because I sell puts and calls on it constantly, but going forward I just don't see enough capital appreciation potential compared to BMY and JNJ I have been adding to on dips. My JNJ position was small because I dumped most of it on the earnings run to 172. First time I really dumped JNJ in 25 years. Didn't feel right to stay that way. PFE will probably run now. Smile It might even be a good entry here soon but I will never buy PFE again unless it is crushed.
Anyone buying emt today?

Sold more PLTR weekly puts. Trimmed amzn, googl just in case there is correction.

Waiting for PLTR to stop dropping everyday then I intend to join you.  Premiums look great.  They will be fairly short term though.

It hasn't been a good week so far, that's for sure.

I'm not sure how the rest of you manage to make moves nearly every day.  I guess you have larger cash positions than I and eat away at it slowly.
